Frequently Asked Questions

How do I become a client of OmniTTT?

Getting started is simple. Contact us or book an appointment to discuss your tax or accounting needs. We will review your situation, explain what documents we need, and let you know the next steps.

What documents do I need to provide for my tax return?
This depends on your individual or business situation. Common documents include W-2s, 1099s, prior-year tax returns, mortgage interest statements, investment statements, business income and expenses, and other relevant tax documents.

If you are missing documents, let us know. We can help you determine what is needed and, in certain situations, guide you through obtaining information directly from the IRS.

I don't have a copy of my previous tax return. Can you help?
Yes. If you are missing a prior-year tax return or other IRS information, we can help you determine what records you need and guide you through the process of obtaining available information from the IRS.

Can you help me get documents from the IRS?
Yes. Sometimes we need IRS transcripts or other information to prepare a return, correct a tax issue, or respond to an IRS notice.

When appropriate, we can guide you through setting up your own IRS online account and ID.me account so you can securely access your information.

For your security, you should never provide anyone with your ID.me password or verification codes.

What if I haven't filed my taxes for several years?
Don't worry. We regularly work with taxpayers who have unfiled or past-due tax returns.

We can review your situation, determine which years may need to be filed, help gather the necessary information, and explain your options.

Can you help if I received a letter from the IRS?
Yes. If you receive an IRS notice, send it to us or bring it to your appointment. We can review the notice, explain what it means, and determine what action may be required.

Do you handle IRS audits?
Yes. OmniTTT provides IRS audit representation and tax resolution services. Our Enrolled Agent can represent eligible taxpayers before the IRS and assist with IRS matters.

Do I have to deal with the IRS myself?
Not necessarily. Depending on your situation and the services you engage us for, we may be able to communicate with and represent you before the IRS. We will explain what authorization is required and what we can handle on your behalf.

Do you prepare business tax returns?
Yes. We prepare tax returns for small businesses and business owners and can provide ongoing tax and accounting support.

Do you offer bookkeeping?
Yes. Our bookkeeping services help business owners keep their financial records organized and up to date. This allows you to spend more time running your business and less time dealing with your books.

Can you help me start a business?
Yes. We assist business owners with business formation and can help you understand the tax and accounting considerations of starting a business.

Do you offer tax planning?
Yes. Tax planning can help you make better financial decisions throughout the year rather than waiting until tax season.

We can review your situation and identify potential tax planning opportunities based on your individual or business circumstances.

How long does tax preparation take?
The timing depends on the complexity of your return and how quickly we receive all required documents and information.

Once we have what we need, we will explain the expected timeline for completing your return.

How much does tax preparation cost?
Every tax return is different. Our fees depend on the complexity of the return, the number of forms required, and the services needed.
Contact us for an estimate based on your specific situation.

Do you work with individuals and businesses?

What happens after I provide my tax documents?

We then prepare your return, review any questions with you, and provide the appropriate documents for your approval and signature before filing.

What if I owe the IRS?
If your tax return shows a balance due, we can explain your payment options. If you already have IRS tax debt, we can also review your situation and discuss available tax resolution options.
